NINTENDO 64 OUTPUT INCREASE PLANNED

Encouraged by progress of the machine in the US, Nintendo Co Ltd is increasing output of its Nintendo 64 64-bit video games player ahead of its launch in Europe, which is set for March 1. Nintendo plans to raise shipments of its Nintendo 64 to 1 million a month from 700,000 to meet what it characterizes as booming demand in the highly competitive US market and the European launch.
