Nimbuzz, a mobile VoIP operator and social network aggregator, has launched voice calls (VoIP) on Android, complementing its instant messaging and social network aggregation service.
Utilising Global IP Solutions’ VoiceEngine Mobile, the company said that it will deliver VoIP calls on Android, Skype, Google, Yahoo! and Windows Live Messenger, providing users with a communications and messaging service through the new application, the company said.
The application was launched in May 2008, enables users worldwide to make free calls and instant messaging across their own network and online social communities (Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk (Orkut), AIM, Facebook , MySpace, Gadu Gadu and others).
