More and more NHS organisations are heading to the cloud, collaborative content provider Huddle has claimed, as it increased its number of deals with public healthcare providers by 44% on last year.
Huddle provides a central environment for NHS bodies where all relevant parties involved in a project can access, store and work together on content.
New clients include Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, NHS Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The technology company’s CEO, Alastair Mitchell, said: "It has been a phenomenal year so far for the cloud in the NHS.
"Healthcare organisations are now looking for ways to support an increasingly mobile workforce and provide people with secure access to the information they need regardless of their location.
"Healthcare reforms in the NHS have also increased demand for flexible, agile cloud-based technologies that can be up and running within hours and help realise efficiencies."
