Some 10 prototypes of the scholar’s workstation from Steve Jobs’ Next Inc have been shipped to developers, according to insider sources tapped by the Newsbytes newswire, and more are on the way. As reported, the workstations, assembled by hand at the firm’s Fremont, California firm, are 68030-based, run Unix and use Adobe Systems’ Display PostScript for screen graphics.
