NEXT INC SCHOLAR’s WORKSTATION DUE NEXT WEEK

By CBR Staff Writer

After some three years of development work, Steve Jobs is thought to be about ready to launch the Next Inc scholar’s workstation. BusinessWeek hears that the machine, said to be a jet black cube with two eight-inch loadspeakers for hi-fi sound to complement the stunning graphics – Jobs’ other company is Pixar Corp – will see the light of day on Thursday week, June 16 in San Francisco. Price is likely to be in the $3,000 to $5,000 bracket.
