Nexenta, the software-defined storage player, has partnered up with OpenStack company Mirantis, enabling customers to use the NexentaStor block and file storage solution with Mirantis OpenStack.

Mirantis and Nexenta will extend their technical and commercial collaboration to other parts of their portfolio including Mirantis OpenStack’s on-demand, hosted option, OpenStack Express, and to NexentaEdge, Nexenta’s object storage platform.
Nexenta also announced that it will be joining forces with Solinea, a firm which specialises in cloud strategy and adoption services.
The move will help customers better integrate with Nexenta’s software-defined storage solutions.
