Reviewing Microsoft Corp’s $95 Outlook 97 program, the Wall Street Journal personal computing column notes that the company rejected the PIM Personal Information Manager tag for it, and decided to call it a Desktop Information Manager or DIM, adding caustically, Sadly, that unfortunate acronym is apt.
