NEWS IN BRIEF: LIFE AFTER MICROSOFT FOR SPYGLASS

USA Today reckons there is life after Microsoft for Spyglass Inc, and reckons that IBM Corp is negotiating to use Mosaic as the basic browser software for its Network Computers, and that Xerox Corp wants to embed Internet server and Mosaic browser software in printers and, eventually, in high-end copiers so that the devices could be monitored, problems diagnosed and possibly fixed via the Internet.
