NEWS IN BRIEF: IBM VISUAL AGE UPGRADE

By CBR Staff Writer

IBM Corp says the addition of its Taligent People, Places & Things interface to the Visual Age collection of programming tools will enable developers to more easily provide dynamic, Web- based client-server and enterprise applications by making large numbers of tools and services available from a single front-end (CI No 2,870). It’s also using the interface to organize Lotus Notes desktops to enable objects to be linked together and is set to offer it as an OEM customer product.
