We are not aware of any mainstream 128-bit processors in the works, but according to Associated Press, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, one executive acknowledged to the news wire’s reporter that private discussions are taking place on designs for the next generation of games systems, using 128-bit chips.
