The three new business units are the MainStreet Access Product unit, MainStreet Business Networks unit, and the MainStreet Advanced Network Products business unit. The Advanced unit’s responsibility covers voice processing systems through to the ONE MainStreet Open Network Engine, a Unix-compliant system for application software. The products from the three business units will be sold through existing marketing and support organisations – the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Newbridge is re-organising its Americas Region activities by moving some regional headquarters functions from its corporate centre in Kanata, Ontario, to its US headquarters in Herndon, Virginia.
