NEW WATCHDOG ORDERS FRANCE TELECOM PRICE REVIEW

France’s new Autorite de Regulation des Telecommunications watchdog says it has ordered France Telecom to review a proposal for the prices it will charge future competitors for using parts of its infrastructure. Asked whether the new body would make life as difficult for France Telecom as the Office of Telecommunications has made it for British Telecommunications Plc, it said it expected hard and difficult talks with all operators.
