According to the company, the new technology enables any AMS management system customer to use AMS’ TransactNow program to submit new-business data to Safeco Now, which is then automatically directed onto the carrier’s platform to complete the transaction.
Anne Randall, vice president of partner integration for Safeco, said: Linking TransactNow with Safeco Now will improve the ease with which our distributors write auto business.
TransactNow uses Acord XML standards and web services technology to integrate carrier functionality directly into the workflow of the agency management system.
