Max Toy, former vice-president of sales and government products at Alcatel’s Xtra Business Systems, is to be the new president and chief operating officer of Commodore Business Machines Inc, the US arm of Commodore International Ltd: he ef-fectively takes over most of the duties of Thomas Rattigan, president and chief executive of Commodore International until he was pushed out in April; Rattigan has not been replaced, and is has a $9m breach of contract suit outstanding against Commodore International.
