The Network Management Forum has launched a new global on-line bulletin board service, free-of-charge to anyone on the Internet, to define and help co-ordinate the use of Managed Object and Object Ensemble within the industry: the board comprises two elements – an electronic mail exploder list for open discussion of requirements, developer and user issues, feedback and data related to object and ensemble development and use; and a file store containing object and ensemble definitions and their related documentation as well as summary information of both completed work and work in progress; to access exploder list key nmf-objects (AT) thumper.bellcore.com; to access filestore, it’s access/pub/forum/objects (AT) thumper.bellcore.com.
