This announcement comes after the late July, 2007, deployment of Auto-Graphics’ Agent library automation platform with its geolocation module that incorporates internet protocol (IP) geolocation data services from Quova. Because the service is only available to in-state residents, the technology authenticates the user’s New Jersey location and provides instant access to an online librarian who will chat and co-browse in real-time, offering answers to questions, research guidance and help navigating web-based resources, including specialty databases funded by libraries.
