The Israeli export institute together with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and a large number of private concerns have established an advisory council to act as an umbrella organization to aid and support Israeli start-ups in all economic sectors. The head of the council will be Yossi Vardy who was previously an advisor to the Prime Minister and is involved in a number of technology related projects. The council will include senior players from high-tech companies, risk-analysts and academics including from the following companies and organizations: Vikon, the Gemini Fund, Polaris, Tel Aviv University, and the Economic Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
