San Francisco-based Notable Technologies Inc has announced the formation of a new software development and marketing company with a mission to create products for mobile professionals, specifically focusing on pen-based computing products. Notable aims to provide a suite of horizontal applications and easy-to-use tools, for Go Corp’s PenPoint operating environment. And the first three products in Notable’s pen-based software product range will ship in the first quarter next year, to coincide with the release of Go Corp’s PenPoint 1.0. These are PenComm, a telecommunications package enabling information transfer to and from hosts and pen-based devices; PenCalc, a spreadsheet package with a forms view interface; and PenCrush, a data compression package for telecommunications trans-mission.
