New at the Comdex show last week was a free-standing 640 by 400 dots-per-inch flat panel EGA/Plasma display with a 10 diagonal screen, with 11.8 by 7.8 by 1 overall dimensions and a 20:1 contrast ratio that comes out of Fujitsu but was being peddled by a couple of Far East resellers, including Bargate Ltd, the Hong Kong based conglomerate heavily involved in selling to the Chinese: prices asked were in the $1,200 to $1,300 range.
