Unlike its agreement on desktop computers, which is for Europe only, DEC’s new OEM pact with Ing C Olivetti & Co SpA for the top notebook and laptop models in its new portable computer line is for world-wide marketing, despite the fact that in the US, it gets its desktop personal computers from Tandy Corp.
