AddStor, a developer of data compression software based in Menlo Park, California has released SuperStor software designed to increase hard or floppy disk capacity: it is targeted at users of word processing, spreadsheets, imaging, and desktop publishing programs; SuperStor is based on adaptive algorithms that keep data on-line, and it is totally transparent to the user; SuperStor costs $120 and works with any hard drive or floppy disk under MS-DOS 3.0 and 4.0, DR DOS 5.0, and Microsoft’s Windows.
