Commonwealth Media Services, a provider of quality, professional communications to all branches of the Commonwealth, has launched PAcast Mobile app for iPhone that provides government news and media resources at the fingertips of government stakeholders, journalist and the public.

According to the company the new iPhone app is created by JPL and partner Apollo Matrix for Commonwealth Media Service’s website, PAcast.com.

The new Pacast application enables subscribers to watch video footage of recent state events, hear radio bulletins, and see news releases and high-resolution photos.

The company claims that subscribers can also share multimedia with friends and colleagues through email, Twitter and Facebook via their iPhones and iPads.

PAcast is a free application available to the general public and may be downloaded from iTunes, the company said.

PAcast content is supplied by Commonwealth Media Services, which provides quality, professional communications to all branches of the Commonwealth, including the Governor’s Office, departments and commissions, state-funded organisations and state grant recipients.
