Neustar has launched Ultra DDI, a new offering that integrates internal DNS, DHCP and IP address management (IPAM) operations.

The new Ultra DDI features networking equipment using Infoblox appliances, as well as issue resolution, software updates, equipment replacement and hardware lifecycle replenishment.

The new offering allows customers to outsource their entire infrastructures while enabling them retain full control over day-to-day changes.

In addition, the company also retains a database of critical DNS and DHCP data points to enable trending and planning for future growth and management.

Neustar internet infrastructure services (IIS) group senior vice president Alex Berry said that DNS and DHCP are linchpins for unifying networks and enhancing communications and are becoming time and labor-intensive for its customers.

"More customers are realising that it simply makes good business sense to trust Neustar. We have built a sterling reputation in delivering and managing the core services underlying IP network infrastructures," Berry said.
