SAP adds regional president and Concur CEO to global board

Move follows acquisition of Concur in December for $8.3bn (£5.5bn).

By Jimmy Nicholls

The software vendor SAP has added two members to its global management board, both from inside the company.

Michael Kleinemeier joins the board having been at SAP since 2003, most recently as regional president of middle and eastern Europe, and will now lead the firm’s services and support division worldwide.

Steve Singh will continue in his role as chief executive of the travel and expense software vendor Concur, acquired by SAP in December for $8.3bn (£5.5bn), having led the firm since 1996.

The appointments are effective immediately.
