Quintum Technologies, a US-based developer of VoIP technologies and a subsidiary of Network Equipment Technologies, has signed Netopolis, a value-added distributor in Lisbon, Portugal, to manage the company's efforts in developing its Tenor VoIP switch and gateway business. Netopolis will also be focusing on new Microsoft initiatives with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.

Netopolis offers outbound marketing to both resellers and end users with advertising, telemarketing, road shows and targeted web-based lead generation efforts. It also supports its resellers with telesales, onsite visits, presales support, training and technical support, both on site and remotely.

Chuck Rutledge, vice president of marketing for Quintum, said: Quintum’s agreement with Netopolis will enable us to expand our business efforts in Portugal, particularly as it relates to Microsoft. Netopolis has the expertise, certifications and business savvy to provide their customers with the best VoIP solutions on the market, and we are proud that they have selected Quintum as their partner for their go-to-market strategy.
