Leveraging Cisco’s Medical-Grade Network, Presidio’s new healthcare offerings are designed to take advantage of recent developments in wireless local area networks and radio frequency identification technologies, enabling functionality such as improved asset management and remote temperature monitoring, said Presidio.
Presidio’s healthcare portfolio incorporates solutions, including improved digital imaging access and system performance; unified visibility solutions for asset monitoring and management; unified Communications application solutions including event alerting and notification and quality assurance and compliance.
According to the company, in addition, Presidio Managed Networks and Presidio Technology Capital augment the expanded portfolio. Presidio Managed Networks enables out-tasking of network and device management, thus allowing IT personnel to focus on internal initiatives that improve patient care.
Presidio Technology Capital assists with the financial aspects of procuring advanced technology solutions by providing financial solution flexibility, including capital preservation, predictive technology refresh and flexible programs such as FAS 13 operating leases, off-balance sheet leasing, project finance and equipment decommissioning.
