Metsaliitto Group selects BT for fixed and mobile voice services

BT has signed a three-year deal to provide and manage fixed and mobile voice services for Metsaliitto Group, a Finland-based manufacturer of paper, tissue, and wood products.

By CBR Staff Writer

Under the terms of the agreement, the services will be provided across all five of Metsaliitto Group’s business units in 23 out of the 30 countries in which Metsaliitto is present. The Nordic and Baltic countries are not part of the deal.

According to BT, as Metsaliitto Group’s new global voice services partner, it will deliver visibility and reporting to the central group management whilst driving a program of cost reduction to the operating companies.

Roger Soderberg, CEO of BT Nordics, said: We are delighted to have been chosen by such a well known Finnish group as Metsaliitto Group. This deal is another proof of our commitment to the region and validates our mission to become the network services provider of choice to multinationals based in the Nordics and beyond.
