According to the company, in addition to expanding its geographic coverage across national borders, it has signed multiple operator agreements within several countries. The company’s global SIM is claimed to provide service availability for customers using machine-to-machine (M2M) communications within these 60 countries.
Jahangir Mohammed, CEO of Jasper Wireless, said: Depending on the operator’s needs, we can manage their customer relationships and billing processes for them, or we can simply serve as the technology back end while they manage their own customer relationships and billing directly. Either route will give them almost immediate access to new revenue without making additional capital or operating investments.
Sympac, a subsidiary of KPN and the only multinational service provider that delivers the same services and pricing structure across every major European country, experienced exactly this kind of accelerated M2M deployment after partnering with Jasper Wireless.
Earlier in February 2008, Jasper Wireless announced that it has signed operator partnership agreements in over 45 European, American and African countries. The company’s global service platform helps multinational corporations connect and manage devices around the world, while bringing significant M2M revenue to mobile operators.
Jasper Wireless is redefining M2M communications by converging the wireless technologies and on-demand Internet applications. The company’s service features the Jasper Wireless M2M Global SIM, M2M vertical application solutions, and the Jasper Wireless M2M Control Center for real-time visibility and control to help M2M application providers maximize their revenues.
