Fujitsu has launched a desktop PC with a 19-inch LCD display screen and a small form factor to minimize power consumption.

By CBR Staff Writer

It said the Deskpower K50Y runs on the Intel Core2Duo processor T7250 and provides up to 2GB in memory and 320GB storage. For added connectivity, the K50Y offers a Dual Layer Super Multi Optical Drive.

The company said the it delivers more than 45% energy savings over generic desktop PCs through the use of the Intel mobile central processing unit, as well as the liquid crystal in the all-in-one design through the integration of the CPU within its screen.

It has a connector cover that prevents illegal access and offers security features such as BIOS Lock, Hard Disk Lock, Anti-Theft Lock Slot, and Trusted Platform Module.

Lim Teck Sin, associate director of product marketing at Fujitsu, said: The Fujitsu Deskpower K50Y has a unique all-in-one form factor guaranteed to free up at least 30% of desk space. This significant reduction in size coupled with minimal noise levels, makes the K50Y an ideal desktop. Its enhanced security features make it a winner for corporate and government offices as well.
