ERF Wireless launches acquisition initiative

US-based ERF Wireless has announced that it is increasing its wireless internets service provider acquisition activities with the intention of expanding its wireless broadband networks in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Colorado.

By CBR Staff Writer

The company’s 12-month goal is to add an additional 100,000 square miles of wireless network coverage in areas that will support the growth of its oil and gas division as well as its regional banking networks. ERF Wireless has previously acquired 12 such wireless internets service providers (WISPs) over the past four years.

H Dean Cubley, CEO of ERF Wireless, said: Growing our wireless networks extensively over the next 12 months, both internally and externally, will allow ERF Wireless to concentrate on increasing both our short-term and long-term recurring revenues. In our WISP operations alone, our goal is to increase our recurring revenue from the current $1 million a quarter to at least $1 million a month.
