Chinese mobile operator selects Radcom to monitor wireless softswitching

A Chinese mobile operator has chosen Radcom, an Israel-based provider of network test and service monitoring solutions, to troubleshoot softswitching on its core network.

Softswitching solutions are being deployed to deliver over-IP connectivity between service providers and different sites within the same operator’s network. According to Radcom its solutions allow telecom operator to extend their GSM, UMTS or CDMA network view to assure quality of service in the softswitch domains.

Eyal Harari, vice president of products and marketing at Radcom, said: We consider the operator’s selection, made after intensive trials, to be an important one, reflecting our successful penetration into emerging markets with our solution’s multi-technology advantages.
