Network Associates Inc yesterday announced a new security software suite that it claims is the first product to combine email, file, folder and disk encryption with a set of central security policy and management tools. The Santa Clara, California network and internet security software company says its PGP Enterprise Security 3.0 makes it easier to manage encryption keys and enforce policy across large organizations. The suite includes PGP Desktop Security, which runs on Windows NT, 95, 98 and Macintosh clients, and enables point-and-click encryption of files, folders and disk volumes from a single screen. It also includes enhanced versions of NAI’s PGP Certificate Server, PGP Policy Management Agent and the PGP Software Developers Toolkit for custom integration.
