Network Associates launches Sniffer division in Bangalore

Network Associates Inc has ramped its presence in India by launching a Sniffer Technologies product division in Bangalore, building on moves first announced in April 2002 to set up its global development center in that region.

The launch of Sniffer Technologies in India means the Santa Clara, California-based company will double the number of its engineering staff there, who will now carry out product development and testing of the Sniffer suite of network monitoring and troubleshooting products from that location.
