NETSTUDIO WINS CO-MARKETING DEAL FROM MICROSOFT

By CBR Staff Writer

NetStudio Corp is expected to sign a co-marketing deal with Microsoft Corp this week that could result in its Easy Web graphics software reaching half a million web developers. The software will be distributed with Microsoft’s Web Solutions Kit CD. Berkeley, California-based NetStudio retail software, NetStudio 1.0, is a web design package aimed at non-professional designers. A trial version of the product will go out with the CD, which Microsoft will co-market and distribute via direct mail and other media. NetStudio is already bundled in with IBM Corp’s NetObjects Fusion 4.0, one of the components of IBM’s WebSphere application server, and works with Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe PageMill and Netscape Composer. Its retail price is $129.
