NetScout Systems, a provider of advanced network and service assurance offering, has reported total revenues of $76.3m for the third quarter of fiscal year 2011, an increase of 8% as compared to $70.7m of the same period last fiscal.
For the quarter ended 31 December 2010, the company reported an operating income of $16.2m, as compared to $13.8m in the same period last year.
NetScout Systems posted a net income of $11.1m and $0.26 EPS, as compared to net income of $8.5m and $0.20 EPS of the same period last year.
For the quarter ended 31 December 2010, the company reported cash and cash equivalents and short and long-term marketable securities of $210.2m, an increase of $58.9m, from $151.3m of the same period of last fiscal.
NetScout Systems president and CEO Anil Singhal said they are pleased with the growth in their enterprise sector, including financial customers, with a 20% increase in new business bookings over the third quarter of last year, resulting in year-to-date growth of new business bookings from their enterprise customers of 29%.
NetScout Systems expects revenues to range between $78m and $82m, and earning per share to range between $0.21 and $0.25 for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2011.
