NETSCAPE WILL EMBED VERITY SEARCH ENGINE IN SUITESPOT

Netscape Communications Corp and Verity Inc have reached an agreement that will see Verity’s Search ’97 engine embedded in Netscape’s SuiteSpot Server software. Search ’97 will be included in Netscape Enterprise, Netscape Catalog Server and Netscape Collabra Server software, as well as Netscape Publishing System. The two companies will also make Search ’97 available to Netscape customers who already have SuiteSpot installed. á
