NetManage said it plans to add the Librados adapter library to its host services platform. It said the Librados product line will drive down the costs of enterprise application integration with its royalty-free source code business model.
With its revenue on the slide, NetManage needs to find a new engine of growth. The Cupertino, California-based company said the purchase will enable it to help customers reuse existing applications when building new systems within a service-orientated architecture.
