Advent has developed a conversion tool called SwissSQL that transforms Oracle SQL to an NPS format.
Netezza, which has its headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts, claims the tool can speed up NPS deployment times by up to five days.
The tool is available for public download at AdventNet’s website.
Pleasanton, California-based AdventNet also develops SwissSQL migration tools for Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2 environments. The company also develops tools for web testing performance, IT management and security and database search.
Netezza’s NPS server combines hardware, software and storage components in a single appliance box for high-end data warehousing. Netezza claims its NPS system can analyze terabytes of data 10 to 100 times faster than traditional enterprise data warehouse systems, and at a fraction of the cost.
