Ness Technologies will provide the bank with the mySAP Business Suite, an enterprise resource computing system developed by SAP, which comprises a comprehensive set of adaptive business solutions that aim to optimize business processes.
The project includes the establishment, assimilation and maintenance of the system, as well as software licenses. Bank Hapoalim selected SAP’s system to support its financial and logistic systems, management processes, human resources, call center management and business data warehouse.
Bank Hapoalim’s move reflects the recognition of the added value of IT systems implementation in improving organizational processes, optimizing management’s decision-making processes, achieving financial transparency, and preparing to meet local and global banking regulatory requirements in the coming years, said Raviv Zoller, president and CEO of Ness Technologies.
SAP’s system provides the basis for meeting the planned regulatory requirements in the global banking industry, as well as Israeli regulatory requirements. This includes a basis for the requirements of the Basel II Accord, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act for North American public companies and other regulations.
The project is estimated to be worth around $4.15 million over two years. EDS will serve as Ness Technologies subcontractor for the project.
