The application integration business is proving to be a goldmine for swathes of ISVs as no company, and certainly none of the large software companies or system vendors, controls anything but a small percentage of the market. New Era of Networks Inc is one of the hottest properties (it recently swallowed a poison pill as testimony to this fact) and its support is coveted by a raft of vendors. The company recently reported a net third quarter loss of $11.65m up from $2.73m last time on revenue which soared 195% to $17.5m over $5.9m last year. At the nine month mark the company reported a net loss of $13.22m up from $4.04m on revenue which rose 167% to $38.5m from $14.37m.
