NEC Corp, now the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer, says it is conducting a study into the feasibility of producing 4M-bit dynamics in the US: NEC spokesman Hisashi Saito said his company will reach a decision on the project sometime around next April or May, based on the results of an on-going feasibility study, (Japanese people tend to talk like that); Saito said NEC planed to send commercial samples of 4Ms to the US next month, even though the next generation chips are not yet available on the Japanese market.
