NEC TO MANUFACTURE PERSONAL COMPUTERS IN US

NEC Corp has decided there is no point in hoping the financial and trade picture will improve, and is going ahead with its plans to manufacture personal computers in the US according to the Asahi Shimbun: the paper says that the company will begin making the Advanced Personal Computer IV AT-alike in Foxboro, Massachusetts from next month, and the Multispeed lap-top at a plant in Georgia soon after.
