NEC Corp has also announced that it plans to increase overseas output of its Multisync series of high-resolution personal computer displays so as to provide its dealers with better margins: in the UK, NEC Technologies (UK) will invest $1.42m in a plant at its Telford base with production capacity of 15,000 monitors a month, expanding to 23,000 units a month by 1992, and in the US, NEC Home Electronics will expand production at its Georgia plant to 25,000 per month from the current 20,000 per month; the Multisync colour monitor can automatically switch to a variety of graphic frequency modes, and NEC has been exporting the display since 1986.
