NEC PLANS TO RELEASE PC-MML FOR ITS PC-9801 PERSONAL COMPUTERS

By CBR Staff Writer

NEC is planning to release a third party micro-to-mainframe link program called PC-MML for its PC-9801 personal computers, supporting connections to mainframes and minis made by Fujitsu, IBM, Hitachi, and DEC: the 9801 needless to say already links to NEC’s Acos mainframes using PC-Vialan and to the VS series of office processors using Branch-Merit.
