NEC IS TAKING ITS CELLULAR TELEPHONES INTO AUSTRALIAN MARKET

NEC Corp is taking its cellular telephones into the Australian market to coincide with Telecom Australia’s launch of the MobileNet service, which is scheduled to cover the entire continent by 1990 but is initially restricted to the Sydney area with the first extensions down to Canberra and up to Newcastle.
