As expected (CI No 3,149), Packard Bell NEC Inc has added a new mid-range Windows NT server to the Express5800 line built for it by NEC Corp in Japan. The two-way MT200 Pentium Pro departmental box includes redundant and hot swap power supplies and costs from $5,000 for a uniprocessor with from 32Mb RAM or $9,000 for a dual processor with 64Mb. It’s sold by the company’s NEC Computer Systems Division.
