NCR UK WINS CONTRACT FROM BARCLAYS BANK

NCR’s UK subsidiary NCR Ltd has won a $14.5m contract from Barclays Bank for MS-DOS micros, and printers: the package comprises 500 NCR PC710s, 2,500 NCR 3392 workstations, and 4,200 matrix and inkjet printers manufactured to NCR specifications; the 3392s will be used to process financial and administrative procedures, while the PC710s will run general purpose software packages such as word processing.
