NCR Corp is to use the Ardis Ltd packet radio service owned by IBM Corp and Motorola Inc to offer a US-wide radio data information service that notifies its field engineers via handheld terminals of customer service calls within 45 seconds or less of receipt: the agreement with Ardis is valued at $15m.
