NCR Ltd has won a UKP4.6m contract to supply Lloyds Bank Plc – the smallest of the Big Four UK retail banks – with 1,500 NCR 5063 financial terminals, which are 8088-based financial workstations based on NCR’s Incremental Workstation Architecture platform: Lloyds will use them for transac-tion processing alongside NCR 2262 counter terminals which it purchased in 1984.
