NCR Japan has introduceed the Accell programming language to run on the Tower Unix supermicros, and has already sold it to two customers, Tokyu Kanko and Seikosha, who are using it to build a customer information management system: Accell is claimed to cut development time by between a tenth and a hund-redth compared with Cobol; it’s $12,800 to $15,300.
